Geologics is hiring an
Advanced Test Engineer to participate in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment required for the testing and evaluation of new RF and GPS/Navigation systems, products, and special devices.
Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you'll prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS-
US Citizenship-Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field.
Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.-Proficient knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages-Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions-Participates in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedule, budget and equipment required for testing and evaluating new systems, products and special devices-Executes the test approach and documents system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle-Generate system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools-Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products-Develops and conducts functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems-Assists with the design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing-Isolates and documents issues and defects-Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle-Researches and analyzes data, such as customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application-Keeps abreast of technology trends
