**Industrial Roll Grinder Operator / Heavy Equipment Operator – Permanent Position**
Austell, GA
**$24-26.50/HR with shift differential**
**Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM**

A global leader in engineered solutions for the paper manufacturing industry is hiring an **Industrial Roll Grinder Operator** for its Austell, GA facility.

This location specializes in servicing, repairing, and maintaining the massive precision rollers used in high-speed paper production.

**Responsibilities**


+ Set up, operate, and maintain large roll grinders for rubber, polyurethane, resin, and steel-covered paper machine rolls
+ Perform precise grinding setups for large industrial equipment
+ Safely lift and move heavy loads using an 80-ton overhead crane
+ Inspect work for quality according to company standards
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
+ Work overtime or shift changes when required
+ Learn and assist with additional shop tasks as needed

**Requirements**


+ Experience with large roll grinders (paper mill rolls or similar) preferred
+ Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and industrial tools
+ Familiarity with industrial grinding practices and heavy equipment setups
+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
+ High school diploma preferred; equivalent experience considered
+ Strong safety awareness, reliability, and adaptability

**Schedule & Pay**


+ **Shift:** Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM
+ **Pay:** $24-26.50/HR with shift differential
