About the Role: The Sales Development Representative is tasked with providing exceptional client service through the company's document management solutions.
They will proactively seek out new businesses in their designated territory/market and work towards achieving sales targets and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Represent multiple well-known brands in Document Management, workflow automation, and scanning/conversion services.Serve as a professional ambassador for a comprehensive provider of office technology and scanning solutions.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company's range of services.Listen actively and comprehend clients' business needs.Engage in prospecting and conduct initial calls/discovery meetings to address business challenges and provide solutions.Identify and pursue new business opportunities by reaching out to current and potential clients.Create and deliver customized presentations to meet client requirements (via MS Teams, in-person, or other virtual meeting platforms).Achieve predetermined sales targets and outcomes to meet objectives.Analyze the potential within your assigned territory/market.Keep your manager informed through activity and results reports.Regularly communicate with leadership about customer needs, issues, competitive activities, etc.Stay updated on industry best practices and services.Display strong verbal and written communication skills ability to engage at the C-suite level. Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of B2B Sales experience.3-5 years of B2B sales experience in scanning/conversion services and the Document Management industry.Experience with automation platforms is a plus.Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven sales track record.Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation abilities.Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.Ability to assess projects and intake information while working in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks and priorities.Knowledge of Document Processing, including imaging, indexing, and basic electronic hosting comprehension.Capable of thriving in a hybrid team environment.College degree or relevant B2B sales experience in conversion services and/or ECM software will be considered, especially for Healthcare, SLED, Enterprise, and Federal sectors.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.May require some local travel to meet with clients.
