Role Summary:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is the launchpad for a career in cybersecurity sales.

SDRs at our client are the front line of their revenue organization, responsible for creating meaningful connections with potential customers, generating qualified opportunities and fueling the pipeline for Enterprise Sales Executives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on curiosity, persistence, and communication - and who is eager to grow into a closing role within a fast-scaling company.

Core Responsibilities / What You'll Do:

  • Research and identify target accounts across mid-market and enterprise sectors.
  • Initiate outbound outreach via phone, email and social media to engage decision makers.
  • Educate prospects on client solutions and value proposition.
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into scheduled meetings for account executives.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and campaign effectiveness.
  • Consistently hit and exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline targets.
  • Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings and customer pain points.

    Required Qualifications:

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a sales, call center, or customer-facing role preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent listening ability.
  • Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and personalized emails daily.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) is a plus.
  • A growth mindset and the resilience to handle rejection while staying focused on results.
  • High school diploma required.
