Job Summary

As an associate Salesforce administrator, you will be responsible for continuing the global implementation of Salesforce.

You will serve as the point of contact for users who require support, configuration, reporting and training.

You will be an internal resource for Salesforce functionality, technology, customization and development.

This role operates on a hybrid work model.

Major Responsibilities

  • Help drive user adoption and best practices to further the long-term success of the system
  • Creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, permission sets, sharing rules, and flows
  • Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operations of Salesforce, including managing users, creating and maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, maintenance of page layouts and lightning pages, and support of app exchange applications
  • Help identify and implement new Salesforce features and functions in response to business needs
  • Understand and translate business goals and business processes into a solution that meets the needs of the various department stakeholders throughout the company that utilize Salesforce
  • Respond to issues or questions from users throughout the organization, resolve technical and functional support issues, manage data loads, review data quality and provide training on new features and functionality
  • Analyze the existing implementation of Salesforce and make recommendations for improvement or best practices
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience

  • Position requires two years of Salesforce experience and Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification
  • Must have knowledge of security (role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules)
  • Experience supporting sales cloud, service cloud, account engagement (Pardot), analytics studio, field service, and CPQ is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in working on multiple assignments while meeting strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new computer applications
  • Prompt and regular attendance
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills necessary
  • An eagerness for acquiring new knowledge
  • Physical Requirements/Essential Job Functions

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and respond to user questions and support requests
  • Identifying and turning business needs into solutions for the department stakeholders requesting assistance
  • Ability to multitask technical problems efficiently
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both users and technical staff effectively
  • Frequent computer and telephone use
  • Concentrating for long periods of time
  • Occasional travel of less than 25% may be required
