JSG is looking for a Salesforce Platform Manager to join their client’s team on-site in Woodland Hills, CA, on a contract-to-hire basis.

The Salesforce Platform Manager is the strategic leader and authority over the global Salesforce ecosystem.
This role owns the end-to-end platform roadmap, implementation, governance structure, and stakeholder engagement model to ensure Salesforce capabilities align tightly with enterprise business priorities.
The role blends CRM vision with technical fluency—able to translate executive intent into scalable, secure, and business-ready solutions.
Beyond governance and strategy, this role brings proven expertise architecting and implementing multi-cloud solutions, deep integrations with enterprise platforms, and hands-on technical leadership across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Data Clouds.
Key to success in this role:
Strategic Ownership & Governance – Ability to define and drive the global Salesforce roadmap, platform investment priorities, and governance model.
User Enablement & Adoption – Experience leading training frameworks, Salesforce Champion networks, and business readiness for new capabilities.
Solution Design Leadership – Demonstrated track record in providing multi-path recommendations, guiding business stakeholders toward scalable, best-practice approaches (versus primarily executing chosen designs).
Partner & Agency Management – Confidence and experience working with external system integrators (e.g., A360), providing clear solution direction, and holding vendors accountable at the design level.
Breadth in Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud – Candidate had only limited exposure here, and both are high-priority components of our Salesforce roadmap.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Own the Salesforce platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and transformation initiatives across B2B and B2C Sales, Marketing, Service, Legal, and Operations.
Govern solution prioritization, platform investments, and the innovation pipeline.
Lead stakeholder engagement, drive CRM adoption, and champion Salesforce as a business value enabler.
Manage relationships with Salesforce.com, ISV partners, and third-party system integrators (SIs).
Define and enforce global platform governance while supporting regionalized execution and compliance requirements.
Platform Architecture, Development & Operations Architect and design multi-cloud Salesforce solutions (E-Commerce, Marketing Cloud, Interaction Studio, Salesforce CDP, and Service Cloud) to deliver unified Customer 360 experiences.
Ensure technical strategies align with enterprise architecture, including system integrations, data models, and security standards.
Guide technical design decisions with the authority to challenge architecture and validate risk; delegate implementation to architects and developers.
Lead the development of integrations with AWS, Snowflake, Twilio, and other enterprise platforms.
Drive data model design, ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation within Salesforce CDP.
Configure Interaction Studio for real-time personalization (sitemaps, campaigns, content zones, and data ingestion).
Direct end-to-end implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service Lightning.
Oversee ETL migrations of historical data into enhanced Salesforce data models.
Support automation of repeatable workflows to improve productivity and user adoption.
Align release strategy and DevOps maturity, including CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and compliance guardrails.
Coordinate delivery teams across development, QA, and release management; ensure agile practices are followed.
Standardize architectural frameworks, design patterns, and platform performance metrics.
User Enablement & Change Management Define and lead the user enablement strategy, including training frameworks, learning content, and role-based onboarding.
Build and scale internal Salesforce Champions networks to drive adoption and localized support.
Create executive dashboards to track adoption, sentiment, and platform ROI metrics.
Lead organizational readiness and change enablement for new releases and capability rollouts.
Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive Salesforce experience, including platform leadership, multi-cloud implementations, and enterprise integrations.
Proven success delivering 20+ Salesforce projects with measurable adoption outcomes and long-term client engagement.
Hands-on expertise in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC, JavaScript), automation, and document generation/e-signature integrations.
Strong understanding of platform governance, security models, and global compliance practices.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional transformation through Salesforce technologies.
Experience with Digital Engagement, AppExchange solutions, middleware integration, and DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD pipelines, and environment lifecycle governance.
Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Certified Application or System Architect Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer Salesforce Platform Developer I/II Salesforce Administrator AgentForce, CTI knowledge, or experience is a plus
Pay rate: $85 - $95 per hour
