Sales & Operations Manager – Building Materials
We’re looking for an experienced Sales & Operations Manager to join a growing team in the building materials industry.
This is a hands-on leadership role where the Sales & Operations Manager will lead sales teams, grow new markets, and ensure strong alignment between sales, design, and production.
Responsibilities:
As the Sales & Operations Manager, recruit, train, and mentor sales and support teams
Develop and execute sales strategies while managing your own book of business
Build long-term relationships with builders, contractors, and distributors
Oversee customer service and operations to ensure project success from start to finish
Collaborate with design and production to deliver accurate quotes and on-time results
Read blueprints and project documents; AutoCAD experience a plus
Qualifications:
5+ years of sales leadership or operations management in building materials, construction, or related industries
Proven ability to grow accounts and lead teams
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Experience with forecasting, CRM systems, and KPI reporting
