Samba TV is seeking a highly skilled and visionary User Experience (UX) Designer to spearhead the next phase of development for our Bridge platform .
This pivotal role will be responsible for leading the design and user experience strategy for Bridge, with a critical focus on unifying the management and use of all Samba TV applications within a cohesive and intuitive user interface .
You will champion a user-centered design approach, working closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to create seamless and efficient experiences for both internal Samba teams and external clients and partners .

Responsibilities Lead the user experience vision and strategy for the Samba TV Bridge platform , ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
Drive the end-to-end design process , including user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design for new and existing features within the Bridge platform.
Lead the effort to unify the user interface and user experience across all Samba TV applications within the Bridge platform, creating a consistent and intuitive user journey for both internal and external users.
Collaborate closely with Product Management to define product requirements and translate them into user-centric design solutions.
Work in partnership with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and effective implementation of design specifications.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions, continuously iterating to improve the user experience.
Partner with the Creative Director to align product UI and UX with our established brand identity, marketing and creative design systemsDevelop and maintain product design systems and UI guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across the Bridge platform and other applications.
Lead the refactoring of existing UIs , such as the Semasio front-end, through the Bridge platform to achieve a unified experience.
Define and implement KPIs related to user experience , such as log-ins, page views, retention rate, bounce rate, task success rate, and user error rate, to measure the effectiveness of design efforts.
Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring user needs are at the forefront of all design decisions.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in UX design, tools, and methodologies.
Potentially lead and mentor other UX designers as the team grows.
Contribute to the creation of a Product Advisory Board to gather external user feedback and drive feature prioritization.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
5+ years of experience in User Experience Design , with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex web platforms.
Proven experience in leading the UX strategy and design for a unified platform experience across multiple applications.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).Strong understanding of usability testing methodologies and the ability to translate research findings into actionable design improvements.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working in an Agile development environment .
A strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of delivering impactful and user-friendly design solutions.
Experience with developing user roles and permissions within a platform.
Experience designing for both internal and external users is highly desirable.
Bonus Qualifications Experience with data visualization principles .
Familiarity with front-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design.
Experience working with design systems and component libraries .
Prior experience in the media and advertising technology industry .
Experience with integrating acquired platforms or products into a unified user experience.
Understanding of API integration from a user experience perspective.

Samba TV expects to offer a base salary between $110,000 - $120,000 per year for roles to be performed in New York or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to, location, experience, and performance.
Base salary is just one component of Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives.
In addition, Samba provides health insurance, wellness offerings, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO), and other employee benefits.
