Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Satellite Payload Operations engineer to join our team.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, control, and optimization of the satellite payload systems.
Your primary duties will include:
Continuously monitoring the health and status of all payload subsystems Performing commanding and configuration changes to the payload as needed to maintain optimal performance Analyzing telemetry data and identifying any anomalies or performance degradation, and implementing corrective actions Coordinating with the multiple Flight, software, and ground control teams to ensure seamless integration between the payload and bus systems Updating procedures and pushing improved automation for operational procedures, checklists, and documentation This is an operations role, so you must be able to work a rotating shift schedule, including overnight and weekend on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, software engineering, or a related technical field, or related technical expertise Experience in operational environments requiring / support Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications:
