One of Central PA's first schools dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is looking for school-based Behavioral Health Technicians. This position is ideal for behavioral health professionals (e.g., paraprofessionals, RBTs, or Paraeducators) who are passionate about providing hands-on educational and therapeutic services for children and adolescents with ASD.


As A Behavioral Health Technician, You Will:

  • Work alongside a team of behavioral health professionals providing therapeutic services for children and adolescents in our structured school setting
  • Implement the behavior plans & programs, working with students' teachers
  • Maintain professional relationships with the client's family and community partners
  • Provide hands-on support for clients in Activities of Daily Living (ADL)


Education, Experience, And Training Requirements For Behavioral Health Technicians:

  • REQUIRED - High School Diploma
  • Preferred - Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, or other Human Services related field
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other behavioral health disorders (as therapeutic support staff, paraprofessionals, personal care assistants (PCA), special education teacher's aides, etc.)
