Overview
Client is seeking a highly experienced Mid-level Scrum Master to support multiple Agile teams in a dynamic enterprise environment.
The role requires strong facilitation, mentoring, and delivery-focused leadership across teams with varying Agile maturity.
Success demands emotional intelligence, influence without authority, and a servant-leader mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide two or more Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices.
- Facilitate ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Apply Agile techniques (user stories, story mapping, ATDD/TDD, pairing, continuous integration) and maintain information radiators and metrics.
- Remove/escalate impediments and foster a culture of self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Agile leaders to evolve enterprise practices; mentor junior Scrum Masters.
- Balance framework adoption with team autonomy; ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and 4+ years on Agile teams (including 2+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master);
or 8+ years combined experience with the same Scrum Master minimums. - Proven facilitation, team coaching, and multi-team delivery ownership.
- Experience leading Agile initiatives across technical and cross-functional settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Design Thinking and Lean principles.
- Experience in at least two tech-focused roles (e.g., developer, QA, BA, UX, PM).
- Background in digital product delivery and Agile transformation; strong communication and influence in matrixed environments.
Additional Information
- Onsite presence is required (this is not a remote role).
- Occasional early-morning hours may be needed to support teams or stakeholders.
