**About the job you’re considering**

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SDET /Test Automation Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive test automation solutions using TestNG, Java, Playwright, and RestAssured.

The ideal candidate will lead our testing strategy, drive process optimization, and establish effective testing metrics and KPIs to enhance our quality assurance capabilities across multiple programs.

**Your role**

+ Design and implement robust test automation frameworks and architectures using TestNG, Java, Playwright, and RestAssured
+ Lead and define the overall testing strategy and approach for complex enterprise applications
+ Establish testing standards, best practices, and guidelines for the QA team
+ Drive process optimization initiatives to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
+ Define and implement meaningful testing metrics and KPIs to measure quality and testing progress
+ Collaborate with development teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
+ Mentor and provide technical guidance to test automation engineers
+ Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies to address specific testing needs
+ Create and maintain technical documentation for test automation frameworks and processes
+ Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies

**Your skills and experience**

+ 12 years of experience in software testing with at least 10 years focused on test automation
+ 10 in implementing automation frameworks Web apps automation
+ 8 Years experience with Java, TestNG, Selenium, Playwright
+ Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
+ Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
+ Knowledge of version control systems and issue tracking tools
+ Experience with test management tools
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in development automation frameworks in MBSE
+ MBSE verification experience
+ Proficient in python
+ Experience with AI, Agentic AI for software testing
+ Experience in performance/security testing.
+ Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is desirable.
