As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all.

Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication.

This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $19.26 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Wed12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
+ Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity as encountered during patrols.
+ Assist visitors and employees with questions and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
+ Work closely with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required by site-specific protocols.
+ Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
