As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a financial institution location.

Your role will involve monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide exceptional customer service.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
+ Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry in accordance with established guidelines for financial institution locations.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.

Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements and Allied Universal standards.
+ Assist with emergency response activities and communicate with relevant authorities and/or site representatives when necessary.
+ Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide assistance to authorized personnel.

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
