As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting visitors, vendors, and employees in accordance with established protocols.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific guidelines.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activities.Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required to address incidents or emergencies at the location.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the automotive environment.What We’re Looking For:

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Must possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician certification.Must have prior supervisory experience.Must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.Why Join Us:
