As a **Security Guard - Armed Patrol Telecom Sector** in **Manassas, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment.

You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to support a sense of security, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism.

**Position Type: Full Time**

**Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance, be 21+ years of age, and be DCJS Armed Certified**

**Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour**

Tue05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Wed05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Thur05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the technology-focused business and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to sensitive areas.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors regarding security-related protocols.
+ Document and report all security-related incidents and/or suspicious activities according to site procedures.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
+ Remain alert to potential risks and/or threats to people, property, and company assets in a technology and media environment.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
+ Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
