As a **Security Officer - Access Control** in **Bennettsville, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage production location, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access.

You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and providing outstanding customer service.

**Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour**

Tue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Assist in controlling access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or leaving the premises.
+ Monitor and manage entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the facility.
+ Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures and maintaining professionalism.
+ Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or potential concerns specific to a food and beverage environment.
+ Adhere to site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters and emergency response.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the location.
+ Collaborate with team members and site management to support a secure and orderly environment tailored to the needs of a food and beverage facility.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
