As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent commercial real estate location.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour**

**Day** **Time**

Tue06:45 AM - 03:00 PM

Wed06:45 AM - 03:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
+ Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them to appropriate locations within the property.
+ Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help maintain a secure environment within the commercial real estate location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Document observations, incidents, and activities through daily reports and logs as required by site protocols.
+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and client guidelines.

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
