As a **Security Officer - Access Control Tech Site** in **Moncks Corner, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As an Access Control Officer at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access while providing outstanding customer service.

Your presence will help to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

This is a driving post, so you will need to operate company or client vehicles as part of your duties.

**Pay Rate: $17.05 / Hour**

Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry to help to deter unauthorized individuals.
+ Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and guests with questions and directions related to security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and identify any unusual activity.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
+ Follow emergency response procedures as needed, communicating with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities when appropriate.
+ Support site-specific security-related operations, adapting to the unique requirements of the location within the technology and telecommunications environment.

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
+ CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
