As a **Security Officer - Data Center Patrol** in **Tempe, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment.

Your responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service.

By maintaining a visible presence and responding promptly to inquiries, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a positive experience for everyone entering the facility.

**Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
+ Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
+ Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing visitor badges as needed.
+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide information related to security-related matters.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site procedures.

**What We’re Looking For:**

+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
