As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, supporting a secure environment for all personnel.

Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

You will play a key role in supporting daily operations, responding to incidents, and collaborating with a dedicated team.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $25.90 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate response activities as needed within an aerospace and defense location.
+ Monitor alarms, surveillance equipment, and access control systems to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site protocols.
+ Receive and document incident reports, relaying critical information to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or emergency responders.
+ Maintain detailed logs of all dispatch activities and communications for record-keeping and incident follow-up.
+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries from site personnel and visitors, following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the security-related needs of the location.
+ Assist with coordinating regular and random patrols by Allied Universal personnel around the business and perimeter as required by site protocols.

**What We’re Looking For:**

+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
+ Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
