As a **Security Officer – Dispatch Center Tech Site** in **Austin, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech-focused location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment.

**Pay Rate: $22.80 / Hour**

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing communication and coordination skills.
+ Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, radio traffic, and electronic messages, to support operations at the location.
+ Dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed to various areas within the location based on incidents, alarms, or requests for assistance.
+ Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities in accordance with site protocols.
+ Coordinate with on-site personnel and/or external emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies.
+ Conduct regular status checks with field personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and support ongoing operations.
+ Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points remotely and/or coordinating responses to access requests.
+ Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with reporting and communication related to security-related activities.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
