As a **Security Officer** in **Dallas, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities throughout the site.

You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and team members.

**Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour**

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Monitor and coordinate communications between personnel and site staff to support security-related operations within a tech and media environment.
+ Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents and/or requests for assistance throughout the location as needed.
+ Maintain detailed logs and records of all calls, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site-specific requirements.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support to on-site teams as appropriate.
+ Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related operations and emergency response.
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by answering inquiries and directing calls or messages to appropriate personnel.
+ Collaborate with on-site teams to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment for staff and visitors.

**What We’re Looking For:**

+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
