As a **Security Officer- Dispatch Tech/Media Full Time** in **Dallas, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities across the location.

Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

**Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour**

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Monitor and coordinate communications between staff, visitors, and emergency personnel to support security-related operations at the location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for dispatch operations.
+ Document and report all security-related incidents, calls, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries related to security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
+ Utilize communication systems and technology to dispatch security personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
+ Maintain awareness of all security-related activities occurring at the location to help to deter unauthorized access or incidents.
+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to carry out security-related procedures and support emergency response activities as required by site protocols.

**What We’re Looking For:**

+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
+ A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
