As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure atmosphere for all personnel.

Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $21.16 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and visitors at the dispatch post within a technology-focused location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communication and support as needed.
+ Monitor access points and manage communications for personnel and visitors, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
+ Document and report all incidents, dispatch activities, and irregularities following established protocols.
+ Assist with emergency response activities by notifying appropriate personnel and coordinating resources according to site procedures.
+ Collaborate with on-site teams and Allied Universal management to maintain awareness of ongoing security-related concerns and/or operational updates.

+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
