As a **Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time** in **WEST POINT, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong presence.

Your role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining detailed records, and supporting a secure environment for all personnel.

This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.

**Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Tue12:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Wed12:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Thur12:00 AM - 10:00 AM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
+ Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
+ Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain order within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
+ Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
+ Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or client protocols.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
