As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility.

**Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour**

Thur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
+ Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related concerns according to company and client procedures.
+ Support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a food and beverage production environment.
+ Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
