As a Security Professional - Chemical Entry Supervisor in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents.
You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff.
This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license.

What You’ll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.Screen individuals entering the chemical or petrochemical location, verifying credentials and following established protocols to help to deter unauthorized access.Monitor entry and exit points, observing for any suspicious activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents, noting any irregularities or concerns.Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policy.Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing information and assistance as needed while upholding security-related standards.What We’re Looking For:

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Must have prior supervisory experience in a security-related setting.A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:
