As a **Security Professional - Access Control - Unarmed** in **Monroe, MI** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents.

Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, managing badge access, and remaining visible to support a secure environment.

You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation.

**Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour**

Mon04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the manufacturing and industrial location.
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with enforcing site rules and regulations as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site's policies.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required.
+ Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
+ This position is primarily a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
