As a **Security Professional - Government Screener** in **Anchorage, AK** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
As a Screener with Allied Universal in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence.
Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with visitors and staff, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

**What You’ll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Greet and interact with visitors, employees, and/or the public in a professional and courteous manner while performing screening procedures at the location entrance.
+ Conduct screening of individuals entering the location using approved methods and equipment, following site-specific policies and procedures.
+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.

+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
