As a **Security Professional - Logistics Screener Full-Time** in **Dulles, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a logistics and distribution location.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents.

You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and support overall security-related objectives.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns within the logistics and distribution environment.
+ Maintain a visible presence at designated screening points to help to deter unauthorized entry and provide assistance to visitors, employees, and contractors as needed.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
