As a **Airport Traffic Control Officer** in **Honolulu, HI** , you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff.

Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication.

**Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon Shift**

**Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30.

Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.**

Mon03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

**Requirements:**

+ **20+ Years of Age**
+ **Valid Drivers License**
+ **Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge**
+ **Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam**

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents as required by site procedures.
+ Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as needed.
+ Work closely with Allied Universal management and local authorities when emergency situations arise.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the government facility environment.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 20 years of age.
+ Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
