The Security Supervisor supervises the team of Security Officers.
The Security Supervisors are responsible for the security functions for the property to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees.

Schedule:
The WCH Security Team operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
Supervisors may be required to work any shift to meet the needs of the operation and are subject to change to meet the needs of the organization.
Positions include week-end and holiday shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises and directs a security team in a casino environmentSchedules the activities of a security team ensuring appropriate coverage of the casino propertyMaintains a written log of incidents involving guests or employees and prepares additional detailed reports as may be requiredPrevents theft; Provides employee and guest escorts and patrols parking lotsProvides Key Control and Radio communicationsProvides guest service and head countsVerifies gaming machine access; Verifies gaming machine pay outsOversees all aspects of guest and employee safety including crowd controlReports employee violations of established policies and procedures, directives and Tribal Minimum Control StandardsControls initial on-scene command during emergency situationsEnsures training assignments are completed for security officersDisseminates information to security staff prior to assuming postsCommunicates emergency proceduresPatrols entrance/exit doors and controls crowdOther duties & responsibilities as assignedJob Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
Associate’s Degree in Related field- requiredMust be twenty-one (21) years of age or older- requiredHigh School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment- requiredOR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience- requiredOR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department- requiredMinimum of five (5) years’ experience in law enforcement, military, or other security capacity- requiredOR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department- requiredAND successfully complete at a minimum of 80% pass rate basic Security Officer training program within sixty (60) days of employment- requiredOR three (3) years of security experience in a casino environment- requiredMust be able to meet and maintain a departmental physical fitness standard- required; the security department may conduct a test that is comparable to the below requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs for a distance of 300 feet within 120 secondsMust be able to climb 4 flights of stairs in 80 secondsMust be able to run 350 ft in 90 secondsAnnually re-test for all physical requirementsExperienced and proficient user in Microsoft Word, Excel; a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- requiredGood writing and verbal communication skills- a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- requiredExperience in customer relations or guest services- preferredMust successfully pass job interview, including a guest service auditionMust complete TIPS and Title#31 training as required as a condition of employmentMust be State recognized Emergency Care Provider, Emergency Medical Responder or equivalent to include AED and CPR within 90 days of employment-property specific requirement Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire shiftWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this positionMust have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environmentMust have a current State driver’s license and an insurable driving record; for purposes of driving company vehiclesNATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES
