We are working with a leading agronomy and seed company seeking an experienced sales professional to cover a key regional territory.
This individual will be responsible for building strong grower relationships, driving seed sales, and providing trusted agronomic insight to maximize customer success.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow seed sales within the assigned regional territory.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers, dealers, and agricultural partners.
Provide agronomic support, product recommendations, and technical expertise to customers.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share through prospecting and networking.
Coordinate with internal teams on product availability, pricing, and marketing strategies.
Deliver presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and represent the company at field days and grower meetings.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in seed sales, agronomy, or agricultural input sales.
Strong knowledge of regional crops, farming practices, and agronomic principles.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently in a territory-based role.
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the territory.
