Key job responsibilities
* Partner with laboratory science teams on design and analysis of experiments
* Originate and lead the development of new data collection workflows with cross-functional partners
* Develop and deploy scalable bioinformatics analysis and QC workflows
* Evaluate and incorporate novel bioinformatic approaches to solve critical business problems

Basic Qualifications
- PhD in math/statistics/engineering or other equivalent quantitative discipline
- 5+ years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Proficiency in a bioinformatics workflow specification language such as NextFlow
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience analyzing large-scale biological sequence datasets
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional life sciences teams, including R&D scientists, ML engineers, and lab personnel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $150,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
