We're growing rapidly and are looking for Senior AWS Cloud Engineers to lead the design, migration, and optimization of large-scale workloads in AWS.

This role requires deep expertise in AWS cloud services, migration strategies, and automation, as well as the ability to mentor team members and influence architectural decisions.

The ideal candidate will bring both technical depth and leadership in cloud transformation initiatives.

**Your future duties and responsibilities:**

.

Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects from legacy systems or other cloud platforms into AWS.
.

Architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.
.

Provide technical leadership to engineering teams during migration and feature development.
.

Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Python, AWS Lambda, and IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
.

Partner with stakeholders to define cloud strategies, roadmaps, and best practices.
.

Conduct performance tuning, cost optimization, and security reviews for cloud environments.
.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on AWS best practices.
.

Stay current with emerging AWS services and proactively recommend adoption strategies.

**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**

.

Extensive hands-on AWS experience, including large-scale migrations and production workloads.
.

Strong background in cloud architecture, design patterns, and modernization initiatives.
.

Advanced expertise in Python scripting, AWS Lambda, and automation.
.

Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and containerization (ECS, EKS, Docker).
.

Solid understanding of networking, security, IAM, and compliance frameworks in AWS.
.

Proven ability to lead teams, projects, or initiatives.
.

Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer, or equivalent senior-level certifications

Other Information:
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
