**Position Description:**

Join a High-Impact Team as a Senior Business Analyst

We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic consulting team, delivering strategic solutions for a complex government client.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ERP system support, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve mid-level business process and system issues.

You’ll tackle challenging Help Desk tickets, identify root causes, and drive resolution through thoughtful analysis and defect management.

Located in Mineola, NY - hybrid at least 4 days a week in the office.

**Your future duties and responsibilities:**

Lead sessions to determine requirements to identify business needs and requirements for an ERP Solution.
.

Sprints, create and update user stories, lead daily standups / scrum / retrospectives.
.

Document current and future business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts, and propose changes/updates to business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts.
.

Produce detailed written documentation, including business requirements documents, functional design documents, use cases and requirements traceability matrices, training documentation, user guides, and executive level presentations
.

Lead and/or participate in Unit/System Testing & overall Quality Control efforts
.

Excellent client interaction skills in support of formal requirements gathering sessions (e.g., Sprint sessions), as well as informal requirements sessions (e.g., one-on-one potentially with senior level staff)
.

Prototyping Application configuration designs
.

Lead sprints/user testing and training sessions
.

Meet tight project deadlines according to release schedules
.

Managing and escalating issues/risks for resolution
.

Provide production support for functionality in production
.

Ability to consistently evaluate project changes to determine impact to clients' needs

**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**

Minimum 5 years of experience as Business Analyst.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment under tight timelines.
Work independently with little supervision.
Must have strong communication skills.

Government Accounting - Experience with financial analysis and financial reconciliations.

Understanding of debits and credits and general accounting structures.

Experience in government accounting practices and principles (GASB Preferred, GAAP accepted).
Degree in Accounting or Finance would be strongly recommended

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $86,200.00 - $150,800.00.
