Overview

Senior Business Development Manager, Programmatic (Audience) to join our team in our New York office; on a hybrid schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office.

The Senior Business Development Manager, Programmatic is a key contributor to Foursquare’s go-to-market strategy, sitting within the Sales Partnerships team.

In this role, you’ll develop and manage strategic partnerships across the advertising ecosystem, identifying and cultivating new opportunities to drive revenue and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy for and grow strategic channel partnerships across DSPs, SSPs, retail media networks, and other programmatic platforms.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for key partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and joint value creation
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements, aligning legal, financial, and operational requirements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align partnership strategies with broader company objectives
  • Lead integration projects with technical and commercial teams to ensure our targeting and measurement products are easily accessible within partner workflows.
  • Develop partner playbooks that define how each integration drives customer value and revenue opportunities.
  • Drive joint business planning and go-to-market initiatives with partners, including co-selling and co-marketing.
  • Monitor partner performance, identifying optimization opportunities that improve adoption, usage, and revenue contribution.
  • Act as the internal advocate for channel targeting partners, ensuring Go To Market teams are aligned to partner needs and market trends.
  • Track and report on KPIs, providing leadership with clear visibility into partner pipeline, integration status, and revenue impact.

What you’ll need

  • Experience: 7–10 years in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development, with a focus in AdTech, digital media, or marketing technology
  • Negotiation & influence: Demonstrated ability to structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements involving multiple stakeholders
  • Industry expertise: Deep understanding of the AdTech ecosystem, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, data providers, retail media, measurement platforms).
  • Analytical skills: Strong ability to evaluate data, build business cases, and translate insights into strategic partnership opportunities
  • Proven track record of owning integrations that drive commercial success and customer adoption.

    Excellent relationship management skills, with experience managing senior-level partner stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional operational excellence with ability to work with technical, product, and sales teams.

Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and office location.

We also regularly review our compensation practices to ensure fairness, equity, and alignment with evolving market trends.

The estimated annual total cash compensation range for this role is $150,000 – $225,000.

While final offers may vary slightly based on individual qualifications, we aim to stay within this published range to support pay equity and transparency across the organization.

Salary is just one part of our total compensation package, which also includes restricted stock units, comprehensive health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits.
