Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure, Network, and Security Architect to join our Cloud Engineering team at Bristol Myers Squibb.
This role focuses primarily on AWS cloud infrastructure and networking, with additional exposure to Azure and GCP.
If you have deep expertise in AWS networking (Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, VPC security, Flow Log analysis, etc.), this is your opportunity to design and secure global cloud environments that enable life-saving innovations.
Responsibilities:
Architect and secure AWS environments using Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, and advanced networking designs for AI services, data analytics, finance systems, and scientific computing.
Deploy and manage next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto Networks)
Automate infrastructure with CloudFormation, Terraform, and Python—reducing complexity and accelerating innovation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Security, Networking, and R&D teams to ensure scalability, resilience, and security.
Drive innovation in a high-impact industry where your contributions directly support breakthroughs in human health.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven “hands-on” experience in AWS cloud networking (Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect).
Experience with firewall inspection and configuration (Palo Alto preferred).
Expertise in AWS services: Auto Scaling, ELB, CloudWatch, IAM, and Route 53 (including Resolver rules, endpoints, and hosted zones).
Experience in infrastructure automation (CloudFormation, Terraform).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and adapt to new challenges.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) strongly preferred.
5+ years of experience building and supporting AWS Infrastructure components.
Additional Desired Skills:
Multi-cloud networking experience (Azure ExpressRoute, GCP networking).
Knowledge of VPC Lattice, CloudFront, SD-WAN, IPAM, and global routing.
Experience with Network security, packet capture (Wireshark), and advanced monitoring techniques.
