**Job Description:**

The Technology Data Lead (KYC Engineering) is responsible for the design, development and support of the KYC Platform coordinating with multiple development teams across the Organization with respect to Data load and data quality.

This entails aligning with other delivery Teams & Vendors.

**Key Responsibilities :**

+ Challenge the norm and provide the thought leadership in KYC required control solutions which meet regulatory expectation and deliver the best-in-class customer and colleague experience.
+ Work with senior business and Tech leaders to ensure our product capabilities and solutions are functionally aligned with requirements and that a fit for purpose solution is designed, with the support from AVP, KYC Engineering.
+ Collaborate with Governance, Information Security, & engineering teams to guide the design and Implementation of frameworks, standards, and processes to meet Banks Audit & Compliance requirements.
+ Supports any regulator exam, audit, or other relevant control execution and review of the KYC data across Teams.

**Depth & Scope:**

+ Extensive, specialized knowledge of data engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, patterns, and procedures, including how they impact and integrate with other technology areas such as Architecture or Infrastructure
+ Extensive understanding of the business supported and the overall Bank with deep expertise and specialized knowledge of technology concepts, technical environment, direction, and related technology and tools
+ Provides technical guidance, direction, or expertise to others as a top technical lead on significant and complex design and development issues that may impact transformational technology or cross business strategic initiatives
+ Works autonomously on highly complex issues which are diverse in scope and multi-faceted and often provides leadership and direction to the team
+ Foresees issues, gaps, and opportunities; identifies emerging industry trends

**Education & Experience:**

+ Degree, Postgraduate Degree, or Technical Certificate in Data Management or related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience
+ Graduate degree preferred
+ 7+ years of relevant experience

**Preferred Qualifications :**

+ 7+ years of experience in data management and analytics skills
+ Proven experience of working with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, data engineers and business analysts.
+ Proven experience designing, managing building data streaming pipelines, building control reports and repository for reporting
+ knowledge of our core business, products, and operations teams
+ Support the KYC development with advanced analytics and data science.
+ Good understanding of current regulatory environment and related implications to identity management, security and audit compliance.

**Customer Accountabilities:**

+ Supports and performs data analysis and assesses data management requirements for a specific Platform or Journey, including complex analysis involving multiple pods or products
+ Maintains expert knowledge of upstream data, including knowledge provided through data profiling, data quality reporting, and via the production of metadata
+ Supports the acquisition and ingestion of data
+ Collaborates with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, and understand complex, large scale data requirements spanning multiple pods, Products, or Journeys
+ Articulates complex, large scale, and high impact technical design and development details to non-technical business partners
+ Elicits, analyzes, and understands business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions, including data models (entity relationship diagrams, dimensional data models), ETL and business rules, data life-cycle management, governance, lineage, and metadata
+ Ensures data is maintained in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines
+ Develops and maintains highly complex data models using industry standard modeling tools
+ Develops and maintains highly complex ETL jobs and frameworks using the Bank's standard tools
+ Provides support to the development and testing teams to resolve data issues, including escalation support on critical issues
+ Supports partners and stakeholders in interpreting and analyzing data
+ Builds effective working relationships spanning multiple Platforms and Journeys to encourage collaboration and transparency on large scale deliverables

**Shareholder Accountabilities:**

+ Leads coordination & and manages expectations with the technology work teams such as ITS, ARE, Architecture, Enterprise Protect etc.

to ensure overall delivery success
+ Performs or leads data analysis/investigations of complex issues/ test cases as part of UAT/PAT testing
+ Escalation points for post implementation activities during the warranty period
+ Approves code check-in/ check-out into source code repository as part of source code management
+ Leads coordination with ITS/ ARE teams to support code packaging & deployment (CI & CD) into higher environments
+ Is the lead participant in the design & architecture reviews or the application
+ Escalation points for service-now requests & other activities related to release management
+ Leads data engineering initiatives and capabilities, data governance principles and how they apply across the organization
+ Leads design and implementation of enterprise/segment metadata management initiatives across the board with a wholistic mindset
+ Adheres & leads standard security coding practices to ensure application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities
+ Has oversight responsibility to ensure technical decisions, technical risks and lessons learned are identified, implemented and clearly documented
+ Protects the interests of the organization – identifies and manages risks, and escalates non-standard, high-risk activities as necessary
+ Adheres to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines
+ May act as lead data engineer and technology asset owner
+ Leads initiatives on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools, and techniques

+ Supports the team by providing guidance and proactively identifying and resolving issues
+ Leads, motivates and develops relationships with internal and external business partners / stakeholders to develop productive working relationships
