We are currently seeking a Senior Database Developer – SQL Server to join our corporate IT Strategy & Transformation team.

What You Will Do:
As Sr. Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining database packages, procedures, and functions as well as the necessary data structures.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in projects and ongoing software maintenance and operational support, specifically with the SQL serverCollaborate with business owners, project managers, testers, and other developers to complete all project requirements and deliverables including coordinating the work of other database developersCreate and implement data models that support business requirementsDesign, develop, implement, and maintain database packages, procedures, functions, and other database objects as required for projects and operational supportDevelop and implement data integration with internal and external systemsPerform troubleshooting, debugging, proofing, and testingCreate SQL-based reportsFollow proper coding standards and development best practiceProvide technical support to internal and external clients and technical guidance to other database developersAbout you:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology plus at least 6 years of database development experienceSenior level development experience and proficiency in the SQL Server Development Technology Stack (Visual Studio, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI), database performance tuning and optimization and data analysis and manipulationKnowledge of and experience in use of advanced Oracle database features and complex data structuresKnowledge of and experience in structured systems analysis and designStrong analytical skill for understanding the functional requirements and translating them into technical designsExperience with data structures and data modeling including relational database design, ETL processes and Reporting and Data Warehouse Knowledge of and experience with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)Experience with managing and coordinating development work in projectsExperience with Oracle and PL/SQL Development is a plusExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with non-technical peersApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa What’s In It for You:
