**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in Android app development.

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ 1 year of experience in Kotlin programming language.
+ 1 year of experience with AI/Agentic tooling.
+ Ability to take ownership of solutions and exert influence without authority.

This Developer Relations Engineer role, within the ADR Developer Engineering team, focuses on empowering Large Language Model (LLM) builders to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety.

Leveraging your technical expertise, you will contribute to shaping the ecosystem roadmap, fostering a seamless developer experience for Android developers.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with developers, generating actionable developer insights, creating comprehensive guidance, writing exemplary code, authoring insightful blog posts, influencing engineering roadmaps, proposing impactful product changes, uncovering compelling developer success stories, and inspiring the broader developer community.

Our team mission is to drive Android ecosystem success by making it easier and more valuable for developers to build high quality, responsible apps across devices.

This opportunity allows you to engage with a developer community and contribute to a thriving ecosystem while building an exceptional LLM experience for developers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

**Responsibilities**

+ Collaborate with LLM developers to drive the acceptance and adoption of Android Bench.
+ Engage with leading app developers to benchmark their real-world codebases against LLMs.
+ Provide engineering guidance and support to design, build, launch, and enhance developer products.
+ Become a subject matter expert in AI/Agentic, coding and tools, identifying opportunities for Google and developers to create products for users.
+ Ideate, design, and implement innovative solutions for the Android Bench suite of products, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.
