Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an experienced Senior Development Project Engineer to lead the Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance System (AGCAS) program within the F-15EX development portfolio in St. Louis, MO.
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving the technical execution and program management of the AGCAS effort, ensuring integration and delivery of this critical safety system.
This role requires deep expertise in project engineering, program leadership, and avionics system development.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the AGCAS program for the F-15EX from requirements definition through design, development, testing, and deliveryAct as the primary technical interface between Boeing leadership, the F-15EX customer, and cross-functional teams for all AGCAS-related activitiesDevelop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans and schedules to meet program objectives and milestonesCoordinate with systems engineering, software, hardware, test teams, and suppliers to ensure seamless program executionMonitor and report on cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholdersIdentify program risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions as neededFoster strong working relationships with the customer and internal teams to facilitate communication, issue resolution, and alignmentEnsure all program deliverables meet quality standards and are submitted on scheduleAnalyze project performance against baseline plans, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement initiativesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading software development programs for safety-critical avionics.Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $140,250 - $189,750
