Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience in multinational companies, including 2 years as a DevOps Engineer in Linux/Windows environments.
• Knowledge of one or more scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Node.js, Ruby.
• Advanced Knowledge of source control technologies like Git, GitHub.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts like DNS, Subnetting, Gateways, DHCP/NAT, OSI Model, Firewall, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, HTTP/HTTPS protocols
• Hands-on experience in docker containers including but not limited to create/run containers, download/change an image, inspect active containers, docker networking, volume management, creating/using docker files, creating/using docker-compose files
• Hands-on experience in container orchestration technologies, e.g. Kubernetes, including cluster/node management, creating resources with YAML, creating/managing pods, replica/Dameon sets, services, volumes
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform.
• Solid experience in using configuration management tools like Ansible, including ad-hoc commands, create/manage inventory files, create/run playbooks, variables/templating
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps (preferably), AWS CodePipeline.
• Hands-on experience in using monitoring and log management tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Solid Experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based DevOps solutions in Azure and AWS platforms.
• Familiarity with agile development practices, particularly sprint planning and estimation.
• Know-how of software development, testing, and configuration methodologies
• Familiarity with the latest industry trends and best practices
• Excellent analytical and research skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Ability to organize and manage time effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Good communication skills
