THE ROLE

The Senior Director of Technology Infrastructure and Operations has overall responsibility at Legends for the ongoing operations and integrity of Legends technology platform.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the successful candidate will lead a team providing operational support to Legends Global users and ensures availability, stability and scalability of business systems and platforms.

Under this role you will manage, support, and maintain the company’s hardware platforms.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization’s technology infrastructure supports its overall mission and objectives.


ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

+ Define and execute the long-term vision for infrastructure and operations aligned with Legends’ business goals.

+ Lead enterprise-wide initiatives for modernization, scalability, and resilience of technology platforms.


Infrastructure Management

+ Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of core IT infrastructure including data centers, cloud environments, networks, and storage.

+ Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all infrastructure systems.


Operational Excellence

+ Manage day-to-day IT operations including incident response, service delivery, and system monitoring.

+ Implement ITIL or similar frameworks to standardize processes and improve service levels.


Team Leadership & Development

+ Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, system administrators, and operations staff.

+ Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Vendor & Budget Management

+ Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

+ Develop and oversee budgets for infrastructure and operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions.


Cybersecurity & Compliance

+ Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance and cybersecurity standards.

+ Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

+ Partner with application development, data, and business teams to support technology needs.

+ Act as a key stakeholder in enterprise architecture and digital transformation initiatives.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legend Global policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

+ 7+ years in cloud and on prem server and business technology support

+ 4+ years supporting an organization with distributed locations and cloud presence.

+ Technology degree or similar work experience

+ Microsoft Windows Server

+ Microsoft Office 365, collaboration suite and Azure AD Deployment

+ Azure Cloud

+ Server backup technologies

+ IT Management tools (e.g., Active Directory, System Center)


SKILLS AND ABILITIES

+ Global technology platforms

+ Ability to drive the bus, lead and motivate teams.

+ IT support, operations, and engineering
