+ Track record of top performance in prior data center operation roles, with increasing levels of scope and responsibility over time.

**About the job**

As the Senior Director, Third Party Data Center Operations, you will lead a geographically distributed team of operations managers and program managers who are collectively responsible for the health, delivery, and efficiency of Google’s Third Party Data Centers.

You will be responsible for a strategy that delivers on the expectations of our customers through technical and operational excellence, leveraging and complementing Google’s Data Centers, the largest cloud computer in the world.

In this role, you will be a leader of managers responsible for the performance, development, and well-being of the team, delivering to sustained excellence to agreed KPIs. You will apply and improve state-of-the-art tools, processes, and systems, working closely to develop and oversee third party providers to deliver on Google’s vision for cloud and AI data centers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $298,000-$414,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

**Responsibilities**

+ Lead the strategy and development of Google’s growing portfolio of third party data centers globally.
+ Manage vendors to deliver hyperscale electrical, mechanical, and cooling infrastructure operations at third party data center campuses globally.
+ Develop and oversee an effective incident management program, anticipating and proactively mitigating risks, and driving timely remediation encompassing root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
+ Work with customers to understand and meet their needs, as required.
+ Manage budget planning, resource planning, organizational development, maintenance, availability, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
