THE ROLE
As a Senior Engineer in Cyber Security, you will deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools to ensure the security infrastructure remains effective.
This role involves close collaboration with other security and IT teams to enhance our overall security posture.
The position aims to create a proactive security environment by supporting the management of threat detection tools, enabling Live Nation Entertainment, Inc.
to stay ahead of real-world threats and attacks.
The ideal candidate should have experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and vulnerability management tools.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Take clear ownership of deploying, configuring, and maintaining key cybersecurity tools to ensure they operate effectively in protecting the organization’s critical assets.
Act as an escalation point for complex tool-related issues, collaborating with peers and vendors to resolve problems quickly and maintain operational resilience.
Ensure security tools are tuned for accurate detection and efficient response, supporting incident investigations as needed.
Contribute to the integration of security platforms with enterprise systems to improve visibility and streamline workflows.
Develop and maintain automation scripts to reduce repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and participate in proof-of-concept initiatives to recommend improvements that strengthen security posture.
Align daily operations with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and internal governance policies.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations roles, with exposure to security tools and incident response
Practical experience with one or more security technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, PAM) and a willingness to learn others
Basic to intermediate scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to support automation and efficiency
Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments; exposure to virtualization or cloud platforms is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Professional certifications (e.g., Security+, GSEC, or vendor-specific) are a plus but not required.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
