</div> <div> </div> <div><b>Job Title: Senior Engineer V</b> </div> <div><b>Location: Pomona, CA 91768</b> </div> <div><b>Duration: 18 Months </b> </div> <div><b>Job Type: Temporary Assignment</b> </div> <div><b>Work Type: Hybrid</b> </div> <div><b>Shift: Monday-Friday 8.00AM-5.00PM</b> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div><b>Job Description:</b> </div> <div> </div> <div><b>Job duties may include: </b></div> <ul> <li>Management and development of new projects once data collection, research and analysis are executed; active research to design new projects and to prepare and present new ideas to improve current processes which impact the business; researching, collecting, and analysing data for the strategic decision-making process in new project developments.</li> </ul> <div><b>Education/Experience: </b></div> <ul> <li>Bachelor Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
</li> <li>Possesses one to three years of experience.
</li> </ul> <div><b>Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload: </b></div> <ul> <li>Technical Leadership: Lead civil engineering efforts across all project phases-scoping, design, cost estimation, scheduling, and construction support.
</li> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (project management, construction, environmental, real estate) and external agencies.
</li> <li>Field Engagement: Conduct job walks and provide engineering construction support across diverse geographical areas for Transmission, Substation and Distribution facilities.
Can be 1 2 field days per week based on business need.
</li> <li>Contractor Oversight: Manage civil engineering consultants-define scopes, review proposals, ensure quality, and maintain schedules.
</li> <li>Quality Assurance: Perform QA for consultant deliverables, peer reviews, manage purchase orders, and approve invoices.
</li> <li>Permitting & Compliance: Secure necessary permits and approvals from local jurisdiction agencies for civil engineering scope and work with business partners to support state, federal and other agency approvals </li> <li>Project Management: Balance multiple project schedules, provide technical leadership for civil engineering scope, monitor budgets and provide proactive communication with key stakeholders.
</li> <li>Safety: Embed safety into engineering designs and promote a safety-first culture both in the office and on-site.
</li> </ul> <div><b>Desired Skills/Attributes: </b></div> <ul> <li>Experienced in land development for electrical substation facilities and transmission access in varied terrain </li> <li>Familiarity with road and highway design </li> <li>Familiarity with storm damage response and mitigation </li> <li>Skilled in contractor management and purchase order oversight </li> <li>Knowledge of the client permitting processes </li> <li>Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field </li> <li>Experience with ArcGIS </li> </ul> <div><b>TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
