Cameron-Cole is seeking a Project Engineer (CG08) to support our growing operations in California.
With little supervision, this role will be responsible for designing, installing, and overseeing operation of environmental remediation systems, preparing a certifying spill prevention, control and countermeasures (SPCC) plans, designing and executing in-situ remediation programs, evaluating vapor intrusion mitigation options, and ensuring that all plans are accurately followed and adhere to Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills to work with colleagues and clients.
This role will report to a Director and is accountable to the Senior Staff.
This person should have strong client relationships and project management skills, and broad experience in California with environment projects including contaminated site restoration subsurface investigations, and environmental permitting and compliance (air/water/waste).
The candidate should be capable of obtaining professional engineering certifications in other states where needed.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Progressive experience with increased responsibility in environmental consultingAdvanced skills in project management are requiredExperience with petroleum site assessment and remediation Preferred Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in California RequiredAbility to obtain registrations in other states PreferredOSHA HAZWOPR 40-hour (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)A valid Driver's License is requiredSalary Range: $114,000 - $151,100
