**Job Description**
A remote-first startup is seeking a FullStack Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building scalable integrations, backend systems, and intuitive user experiences.

Contract Duration: 3 month contract-to-hire
**Required Skills & Experience**
· 5+ years of experience in full stack development
· Strong backend experience with Ruby on Rails
· Frontend experience with Tailwind CSS and vanilla JavaScript
· Proven experience building and scaling API integrations
· Ability to lead architectural decisions and roadmap planning
· Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
· Strong communication and mentoring skills
**Desired Skills & Experience**
· Experience with ecommerce platforms and fulfillment systems
· Familiarity with AI-driven workflows or tools
· Data engineering or system monitoring experience
· Interest in creator tools, automation, or digital commerce
**What You Will Be Doing**
**Tech Breakdown**
· 50 percent backend development (Ruby on Rails)
· 30 percent frontend development (Tailwind, JavaScript)
· 20 percent integration architecture and system reliability
